Si Douglas was a well-respected individual of African Descent within the Greater Rochester Area. He was a caring and nurturing physician, a gentle and kind man, and a highly principled human being. He graduated from City College of New York and the U

S DouglasHe served as a Medical Captain in the United States Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in California and practiced internal medicine as a primary care physician in Rochester for over 40 years.

He also served several years as a medical associate for the Genesee Health Service. Among his many accomplishments was being instrumental in establishing Preferred Care as a federally qualified health maintenance organization (HMO) authorized to conduct business pursuant to New York State Public Health Law.
